Whether sites are designed simply as personal statements or as fully functional business portals, the web 2.0 phenomenon will mean that unless owners give users the right to comment on, contribute to and collaborate with the site, its owners and other users; its importance as an important resource will quickly diminish as it drops down the rankings.
