Pete Dixon - European Service Coordinator - TA Instruments

"Our Leadership team met with several suppliers to help TAI develop a suitable training solution for our Field Service Team who are located throughout Europe.

After careful deliberation we selected Sales101. This was based upon the fact that they had a history of delivering similar training programmes, financial costs and benefits, and most importantly the proposed training was tailored to meet our particular requirements where differing cultures, languages and the fact that our Field based Engineers time to study is limited, was taken into full consideration. Sales101 worked with us and proposed a 3 level training program: Face-to-Face Training: Online Sales Education: SalesMaster® Package

The 2 day face to face training was developed by Sales 101 but only after several meetings where they took our brief and created an excellent training package that reflected TAI culture and market perspective. In addition SalesMaster training was provided to each Team Leader.

Each Engineer then was tasked with learning each module. Each Regional Team leader was able to log onto the web site and view their team’s progress. The benefit of this training was that the Engineer could log on at a time convenient to them and the business. Each time a module was completed an Email was dispatched and we could see the results and if necessary put in a support plan or as we were delighted to learn, praise the individual for their success.

The SalesMaster® is used at every regional meeting where we re-enforce particular skills and is a fantastic team builder as well as a useful tool to focus in on the commercials aspects of the business.

Ultimately the goal of the training was to increase contract coverage and revenues. In the last 12 months TAI has seen a 12% increase in contract coverage and over 35% increase in revenue growth. Whilst there have been additional focus and promotions we cannot under estimate the Sales training program provided by Sales101. It was their enthusiasm, support and guidance, which was the catalyst to enable TAI to reach it’s full potential."

Leading UK Media Company

"I thought that the session was good fun, and although we did have a laugh it does serve a good purpose in making you remember vital points in our day to day role as well as pick up things that you are not familiar with."

"As we all work on classified its interesting to hear other people ideas and potentially there may be good solutions to use in our role."

"For me this exercise would be very beneficial not just because the situation can be enjoyable and funny but other colleague within the session can really get to share their knowledge"

"I thought the game had a great fun aspect to it and it really got everyone talking."

"I think the idea behind the game was good. It was great to get everyone involved and discussing the sales process. The other good thing was that it really got you to think on the spot - just like you'd have to on the phone! The role play cards were also quite thought provoking."

"I thought it was a great way to see how we all approached different scenarios and used our knowledge of selling to our advantage.

Sometimes, I admit I can shy away from answering questions as I am not fully confident of my answers but this was a great way of getting everyone involved and gave us all the confidence to speak up and win some money ( play money that is!! )"

"It was a bit of fun and a nice way to get sales techniques fresh in people's minds."

In summary, the networking session was one of the highlights of our weekend meeting. I hope that we will be able to find an opportunity to work with Sales 101 again in the near future.

Your presentation, and handouts, were truly excellent.

You are a real professional and you know how to leave your audience hungry for more. Well, I too train in sales and marketing, and you left me hungry. You also left those I talked to, over the networking dinner, hungry too.

A brilliant job and many, many thanks for your effort and for your support.

KOREC Group
Thank you for facilitating a really productive meeting.

It is amazing how much was gained by taking those few hours to sit down and align everybody’s thoughts. I think everybody was really energized and for the first time felt that they really were playing their part in shaping the future of KOREC.

Everyone is in agreement that you did a great job and that you really challenged us to take a look at ourselves and decide what we want to be in the future.

We would definitely like to book you again for next year to review our progress.
