SalesMaster® comprises two major components: an online training package and a game specially designed to appeal to sales people by stimulating their competitive streak to make the most money by providing answers to questions based on their command of the sales process. The system is supplied with a fully comprehensive set of questions cards with more than 15,000 words of content to test and stimulate sales teams.

When the session starts, the sales team is split into a number of working teams (usually of three or four). They then take turns to throw a dice and move their piece onto a colour coded space. They are then given one minute to come up with an answer, which is then rewarded by the Games Master (facilitator) who awards play money in proportion to the quality of the answer given.

The other teams are then given the opportunity to expand on the answers in order to earn bonuses.  The question cards incorporate a detaileds sample answer, coaching notes, a reference to the elearning module relevant to the question and a bonus question.

SalesMaster® is extremely flexible and includes two modes of play. In the first, the questions are selected by the randonm throw of a dice, while in the second, the games Master has complete control over the questions asked, allowing him to focus learning on a particular topic such as asking questions, handling objections or closing.

At the heart of the game there is a set of sales scenarios designed to test the acumen of the team and their ability to sell under pressure.  Satisfactory answers to these questions can earn three times as much as answers to the other questions in the game.

However the real power of Sales Master® is the online training which forms its backbone.  The product is supplied with access to a suite of online video training programmes covering every aspect of the sales process.  Hosted and demonstrated by world class sales professionals, the seven main modules deal with the sales cycle and there are also other short lessons to supplement these skills.

Each module comes complete with a fully downloadable set of slides, a complete transcript, a comprehensive search facility, course notes and a course test. Managers can monitor the performance of individuals in their team and ensure that skills have been properly absorbed. Alternatively modules can be viewed as a group exercise, in which case individual assessment and monitoring is not possible.

SalesMaster® is completely flexible in design and can be played for as little as 20 minutes or as long as 2 hours.  The training modules consist of more than 6 hours of continuous online content which will take the average student up to 10 hours to review – the equivalent of spending two days in the classroom at a conventional course.  And because they are online they can be reviewed as many times as necessary during the initial license period which lasts for a year.

SalesMaster® is available in a variety of end user configurations depending on the size of the sales force and the exact nature of the user’s business.

Although the questions supplied with Sales Master® are general in nature and will be suitable for use in most B2B sales environments, customised questions can be produced to meet particular selling situations.
