2. Teamwork and leadership game- "Murphy"
/Making decisions with incomplete information? Welcome to Murphy's world. This challenging leadership game has been designed to highlight the interdependence of team and allows participants to practice leadership and planning skills.
The team's task is to provide top management with vital sales figures. Although each member has some information, the Sales Manager has disappeared with the key data. He's away on a business trip and it's a race against the clock to locate him and get him to send over the missing information. In order to find him and calculate the sales figures the team needs a firm and organising leader who will plan how to complete the task, coordinate information for all team members, delegate special assignments to team memebers and communicate effectively with every member of the group. This leadership game is supplied with full instructions and can be played with either a single team or in competetive groups against the clock. 3. Leadership game - "Terra-Nova"
Can your team's leader manage their way out of a tight spot? This highly enjoyable leadership game challenges the leader to process complex information and help his team choose logically between a number of alternatives. Terra Nova is a fictitious area of Newfoundland and the team has been dropped by sea plane on Pine Lake. Their task is to reach any one of the five lakes on an adjacent island so as to be picked up again by the plane. There is at least one alternative way of getting to each of the lakes (bus, ferries, hiking, 4-wheel drive hire, plane, rafting, etc), some faster and more expensive than others. The leader has to get his team to cost at least three alternative methods/routes and make a decision as to where the pilot has to pick them up before he takes off. The decision will obviously depend on the quality of the decisions the leader makes, the strategy adopted, how well talent is used in the team and whether they decide on speed, cost, adventure, physical activity, etc. There is no right answer (apart from making correct calculations of the cost of each alternative) and this makes it an ideal simulation for leadership seminars. As John Kotter of Harvard Business School has reported, one of the key characteristics of successful leaders is their ability to 'set direction' and let the managers and the team get on with the planning. In this exercise, the group's decision depends on the leaders skill at setting strategy and asigning taks to the team to get the optimum outcome. This leadership game is supplied with full instructions and can be played with either a single team or in competetive groups against the clock. Back to top

4. Competetive Leadership game - "Viking Attack!"
Viking Attack! is one of our top selling leadership games because it simulates the need for collaborative working and effective team work in a highly competetive race against the clock.

As well as bringing the team together to solve a complex puzzle, it will teach them valuable lessons in leadership, cooperation, planning and of course how to work more effectively as a team

The package is downloaded ready to use. Simply print it out, follow the instructions and you are ready to go. The package is suitable for an unlimited number of participants who are divided into manageable groups of six to ten per group. Each group is given a set of clues (most of them relevant, some 'red herrings'), distributed at random  between the players.  The groups are then told to work against the clock to discover when and where a a particular event took place

Although it seems a simple problem to solve, in order to win, the players will need to elect a leader, set an objective, organize and delegate the processing of information and listen to each other effectively, if they want to find the three-part solution.
