Buccaneers Island® is a corporate devlopment event for for teams of up to 200. As well as being a powerful team building exercise, its real strength is in the way it forces participants to develop their key managerial skills such as planning, leadership, teamwork and use of resources.Suitable for sales, management and operations teams, it will energize and enthuse your team and give them skills that will have an immediate, positive effect on their performance in the workplace.

The day is in two parts.

During the morning session the teams take part in a fast paced, challenging and very exciting team activity. Under extreme time pressure, they will have to set objectives, develop and execute a plan, organize resources, react to change and pull together as a team. The exercise is designed to bring out leadership skills and cleverly simulate some of the everyday challenges encountered in the workplace.

Led by a highly experienced facilitator who focuses the day on achieving management’s desired outcomes; the game will be hosted by a cast who will guide the teams through the decisions that they must make. There is an option for senior client personnel to take a key role as “The Old Sea Captain” a valuable source of useful knowledge and, often ignored resource.

The whole activity is presented in a very exciting nautical theme and generates an exciting “Buzzy” atmosphere.

In the afternoon, the teams receive high quality, constructive feedback on their morning performance.

During the session the teams are given tools and techniques that thery can apply back at work to help them improve performance. The feedback is tailored to the real situations they deal with when they return to their jobs. Each participant is presented with a detailed workbook and customers have the option of allowing them to keep their buccaneers outfits and T shirts.

Buccaneers Island® is ideal for sales and management teams who want to improve skills and enjoy having fun. It can be used as a pure teambuilding exercise, or as a vehicle for delivering training in:
